At the Zimbabwe Institute of Tax Accountants (ZITA), we are committed to fostering an environment of equality and inclusion. Our Women’s Chapter, a cornerstone of our ‘Women in Tax’ initiative, champions the advancement of gender equality within the tax profession in Zimbabwe.

 The ‘Women in Tax’ initiative was born out of a recognition of the significant need for gender equality in the tax sector. ZITA acknowledges the underrepresentation of women in tax and is dedicated to creating opportunities that support the growth and advancement of women tax professionals.

 Our efforts are centered around promoting the inclusion of women in the tax field through a variety of impactful strategies. We facilitate mentorship programs, provide networking opportunities, and launch initiatives specifically designed to enhance the visibility and influence of women in tax.

 ZITA has successfully organized numerous workshops, events, and webinars aimed at empowering women and equipping them with the skills and confidence necessary to excel in their careers. Through these efforts, we are building a future in which women play a pivotal role in shaping the tax landscape.
